Mitch Marlin recently took some of our Year 9 IFTS students to Glendale School of Excellence in Special Education where they ran games and drills. The Glendale students learned a lot from the session and had great fun – the smiles on their faces were priceless.
Volunteering is a two-way exchange though. The more you give the more you get; skills, experience, friends, or the feeling of knowing your contribution has made a positive difference. IFTS students are often out and about volunteering and always seem to be positively influenced after doing so.
If you know of an organisation that might benefit from a helping hand from our students, please let us know.
